At Kintaro DIY, we are committed to delivering every kit safely, efficiently, and as quickly as possible. This Shipping, Delivery, & Cancellation Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, delivered, and cancelled when applicable.

1. Shipping Coverage
Kintaro DIY currently ships across India. We work with trusted logistics partners to ensure that our products reach customers safely and efficiently, whether they are in metropolitan cities, towns, or remote regions.
At present, we do not offer international shipping. However, we are continually exploring opportunities to expand our reach and make Kintaro DIY products available to young learners around the world in the future.
2. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 24 hours after successful order confirmation and payment verification.
Orders placed on weekends, public holidays, or during promotional events may require additional processing time. While we strive to process orders promptly, processing timelines may vary depending on product availability, order volume, operational requirements, or unforeseen circumstances.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation message containing tracking details, where available.
3. Delivery Timelines
Most orders are delivered within approximately 5 to 7 business days from the date of dispatch. Delivery timelines may vary depending on your delivery location, courier partner availability, weather conditions, public holidays, local restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
While we make every effort to deliver products within estimated timelines, delivery dates are indicative only and should not be considered guaranteed.
Kintaro DIY shall not be liable for delays caused by courier partners, natural disasters, government actions, transportation disruptions, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Ownership of responsibility for the product shall transfer to the customer upon successful delivery to the shipping address provided at the time of purchase.
4. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, if applicable, will be displayed at checkout before the completion of your purchase.
From time to time, Kintaro DIY may offer free shipping promotions, discounted shipping rates, or special delivery offers. Such promotions may be subject to specific terms and conditions and may be modified or withdrawn without prior notice.
5. Payment Options
To provide a convenient shopping experience, Kintaro DIY may offer multiple payment options, including prepaid payments through UPI, credit cards, debit cards, net banking, digital wallets, and other supported payment methods.
Cash on Delivery (COD) may be available for eligible locations across India. In certain cases, Partial COD options may also be offered for specific products, locations, or order values. Any such conditions will be communicated during checkout.
The availability of payment methods may vary based on delivery location, order value, operational considerations, or risk assessment.
6. Tracking Your Order
Once an order has been shipped, customers will receive shipment confirmation and tracking details through the contact information provided during checkout.
Tracking information may take some time to become active after dispatching, depending on the courier partner's system updates.
Customers are responsible for monitoring shipment status and ensuring availability to receive the package at the delivery address provided.
Information provided for order fulfillment, shipment tracking, delivery updates, customer support, and logistics coordination will be collected, stored, and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Delivery Address and Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at the time of placing an order, including recipient name, address, contact number, postal code, and any relevant delivery instructions.
If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, delivery delays, failed delivery attempts, additional shipping costs, or order returns may occur.
If you notice an error in your order details after placing an order, please contact our support team immediately. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate correction requests, we cannot guarantee changes once order processing has begun.
8. Failed Delivery Attempts
A delivery may be considered unsuccessful if:
- The recipient is unavailable after reasonable delivery attempts.
- The delivery address is incomplete, inaccurate, or invalid.
- The customer refuses to accept the shipment.
- The courier partner is unable to access the delivery location.
If an order is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts, the customer may be required to pay applicable re-shipping charges before the order can be dispatched again.
For prepaid orders that are returned due to failed delivery attempts, refusal to accept delivery, or incorrect address information provided by the customer, any refund approved by Kintaro DIY may be subject to deduction of applicable shipping and handling charges.
9. Damaged Packages During Transit
We carefully pack every Kintaro DIY to minimize the risk of transit damage. However, if you receive a damaged package, an incorrect product, a product with missing components, or a defective item, please refer to our Refund & Replacement Policy.
Customers are encouraged to record an unboxing video and retain all original packaging materials until the contents have been inspected.
10. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch
Orders may be cancelled at any time before they have been dispatched from our warehouse.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible with your order details. If the order has not yet been shipped, we will process the cancellation and initiate a refund to the original payment method used during purchase.
Approved refunds are generally processed within 5 to 7 business days, although actual credit timelines may vary depending on banks, payment gateways, or financial institutions.
11. Order Cancellation After Dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched from our warehouse, it cannot be cancelled.
Customers may choose not to accept delivery; however, for prepaid orders, any refund approved in such circumstances may be subject to deduction of applicable forward shipping, return shipping, and handling charges incurred by Kintaro DIY.
Any request relating to damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete products after delivery shall be governed by the Refund & Replacement Policy.
12. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders
Cash on Delivery is offered to provide additional convenience to customers. However, repeated order cancellations, refusal to accept deliveries, or misuse of COD services may result in restrictions on future COD eligibility.
Kintaro DIY reserves the right to limit, suspend, or withdraw COD availability for specific customers, locations, products, or order categories at its discretion.
13. Orders Cancelled by Kintaro DIY
In certain situations, Kintaro DIY may cancel an order prior to dispatch. Such situations may include product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, payment verification issues, operational limitations, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where payment has already been received for a cancelled order, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method.
14. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Kintaro DIY shall not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, cancellations, or disruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, transportation disruptions, government actions, labour disputes, epidemics, pandemics, internet outages, or other force majeure events.

In the event of any inconsistency between these policies, Kintaro DIY reserves the right to interpret and apply them in a manner consistent with applicable law and its operational practices.
